If you fancy a chance of playing Snooker legend Ronnie O’ Sullivan then you may get a chance via an online casino site.
The world number nine may not be enjoying the most successful of spells in his career but O’ Sullivan is still the biggest draw in World snooker.
O'Sullivan signed a new deal with Casino-on-net 888 this week joining an impressive line-up of snooker stars sponsored by the online casino and poker room.
Signs that the wild man of snooker may be returning to his best came when he was crowned Saga Insurance Masters champion recently.
O'Sullivan will now wear a 888.com patch on his waistcoat at tournaments and 888 can use his image to promote their brand under the terms of the new deal. 888 aims to give players a chance to play against Ronnie through online tournament qualifiers.
Rob Mitchell, UK Sports Marketing Manager at 888, said: "We are delighted to welcome Ronnie back to the 888.com line-up, he is a fantastic addition to our existing stable of sponsored snooker players as well as our sponsorship of the 888.com World Snooker Championship. It shows our continued commitment to the sport as we aim to give the fans an opportunity to really engage with their snooker idols."
Reacting to the lucrative sponsorship deal O'Sullivan said "I'm chuffed to be joining up with 888.com, they have given snooker a great boost in the last year and it's obvious they are serious about the sport. Following the Masters my sights are now firmly set on winning the 888.com World Championship when we arrive at the Crucible in April."
