In a first for online gambling fans of Premiership table toppers Manchester United will now have their very own online casino site.

The footballing giant has teamed up with Betfred bookmakers to launch a co-branded online casino in the innovative move.

Betfred have been in operation for 40 years and has over 600 high street betting shops and has more than 2000 employees.

The new site manutd.betfred.com offers online casinos as well as a sports book, poker, skill games and a lotto section.

Supporters of the club can now access their own online gambling platform directly from the official Manchester United website and qualify for unique bonuses including VIP trips to Old Trafford to watch the side play.

Betfred entered the online casino world in 2005 by launching casino and poker sites powered by provider Playtech and  are the world's largest independent bookmakers and the UK's biggest independent high street retailer with a turnover of around GBP1 billion.

The new site uses a high level of graphics and technology from Playtech and is themed and based around the Manchester United football club. Manchester United fans will feel right at home at the betting tables and will immediately recognize Manchester United imagery and features throughout their gameplay.
