Things are hotting up on the UK online Casino scene as Hugh Hefner has just launched a new Playboy online casino.

Playboy has had online casino products in the past but the latest venture is specifically aimed at British players in response to the laws banning online casino activity in the United States.

Coined Playboy UK, the British arm of the Hefner operation teamed up with software provider Cryptologic last year but the final project was released just days ago.

Two new games have been added to the brand which the Playboy Corporation hope will prove to be big hits on this side of the Atlantic Ocean.

These games are video slot machines which feature undressed Playboy Playmates.

Obviously targeted mainly at men players can also vote for their playmate of the month and can win trips to the Playboy mansion as well as being in with a chance of meeting their favourite playmate herself.

Playboy Poker is also available but Playboy Casino is expected to be more appealing to the casual online gambler.

As competition in the online gaming sector grows expect to see more and more online sites targeted towards specific groups.

While semi or total naked women on online casino sites is nothing new it may become even more prevalent in the coming months as site providers bid to catch the eye of the punter in an ever increasing market.

The decision by Playboy to specifically target the United Kingdom shows just how American business moguls view the online casino climate at present.

Rather than fold or diversify they are looking for new markets beyond their shores and it’s expected that more similar casino sites will wing their way from the US in the coming months.
