The phrase the ‘luck of the Irish’ seems to be truer than ever after another winner of the EuroMillions lottery has been uncovered on the Emerald Isle.
The winner from County Tipperary will be taking home 15 million Euro when they decide to step forward and claim their win.
The winning €9 quick pick ticket for the July 4th lottery draw was bought in The Abbey Stores, Carrickbeg, Carrick-on-Suir, Co Tipperary. But nobody had claimed the prize, the second time that the EuroMillions lottery jackpot has been won in Ireland.
One lucky winner took the top prize in the EuroMillions draw on Friday evening and you can literally hear all players in the region desperately searching for their tickets!
EuroMillions has been one of the more successful of recent Lottery games and seen some large jackpots paid out to a whole host of players in different countries.
Initially the Lottery only took in the UK, France and Spain but it has now been expanded to accommodate those from Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal and Switzerland with the list set to grow longer in the future.
After a fairly slow start EuroMillions is now attracting massive player numbers each week, something which has seen the jackpot grow and grow over recent times.
