The secrets of online gambling are set to be revealed for the first time at this month's ICE gambling exhibition. The event, which takes place on the 23rd to 25th of January in Earls Court, London could be a very interesting eye opener for interested gamblers as eCOGRA ("eCommerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance") are to publish the findings of the biggest ever online casino gambling survey.
The report named "The Global Online Gambler Report" was initiated by Nottingham Trent University and aided by the University of Nevada gambling research team. The survey collected responses from over 10,000 respondents from US, the UK, Germany and Sweden among other countries. Its wide scope includes areas such as player protection, preferences, various gambling portals and their value, favourite games and particularly responsible gambling. It is also believed to hold some surprises for those involved in the online gambling industry.
Andrew Beveridge, eCOGRA CEO, said this week, 'Early indications are that there will be some surprises in the report. We think it will be very revealing for both industry insiders and a wider public.'
