In terms of betting, Big Brother is by far the most popular of the reality shows in the UK.
The ninth series of the show has been running for one week now and Friday night sees the first eviction from the house.
Those of you who have been watching will know housemates Mario, Lisa, Stephanie and Luke are up for the public vote to be evicted after they failed their task - which was to pretend Mario and Stephanie were a couple even though Mario’s real partner is Lisa.
Mario has overtaken Stephanie as the favourite to be the first housemate to get the chop. He is 1/2* with Betfair to walk on Friday.
Stephanie from Liverpool seems to have won some favour from the public after being early favourite to be evicted. The 19 year-old blonde is now 2/1* with Paddy Power to make an early exit from the house.
Bookmakers seem to think it’s a two-horse race between these two but anything can happen in that house to change the viewing public’s mind.
If you fancy an outside bet on Mario’s girlfriend Lisa, she is 25/1* with Bluesquare and 888Sport.
Quirky Northerner Luke is very much expected to stay in the house. Bluesquare and 888Sport are offering odds of 80/1* against him being booted out.
Although the show’s only been running for a week and the winner won’t be decided for about another three months, bets are already being taken on the winner.
Zany Kathreya from Thailand is the early favourite at 7/2* with Totesport. Blind Scotsman Michael is second favourite at 5/1* with Sportingbet.
Luke, although facing the public vote this week, is also an early favourite with odds of 7/1* with Stan James to go the distance.
You can have odds of 9/1* that any of the other housemates will win the show.
Bluesquare, Paddy Power and 888Sport are offering odds of 9/1* on Rachel. Black American Albino Darnell is the next fancied housemate to win at 10/1* with Skybet and Stan James.
Alexandra has caused a bit of a stir in the house and bookmakers believe she is least likely to win the show with Totesport offering the best odds of 200/1*.
