Slotland’s new Slotris online slots game
Published on 30 April 2008
The latest online slot from Slotland called Slotris, is based upon the hugely successful video game Tetris, whereby players had to slot falling blocks in to place to make them disappear.
Slotris is two games in one and is played on its own website separate from slotland.com. It is the tenth unique online game from the online entertainment company, with six of these games being available on mobile phones.
In Slotris the wheels spin the multi-coloured cubes and the same squares fall into place on the grid of the adjacent bonus game puzzle simulating the worldwide video game smash Tetris.
The maker’s of this game give you two separate chances to win some cash. The three-wheel, one-payline slot line features coloured blocks as spinning symbols. To win some cash you need to match three symbols. In addition, the coloured blocks don’t just spin on the slot machine wheels they also fall into place in the grid next to the slot machine. You must guide the blocks into place to win some bonus cash. You bet is multiplied each time you create a solid-colour horizontal line, if you create ten lines then you have struck the jackpot.
One player tried out the new game and commented, “I’ve wasted a lot of hours playing Tetris over the years. But there was never any money on it! A little wager makes it a lot more fun!”
Slotris carries with it a progressive jackpot, as do all of Slotland’s online slot and video poker games. Just a month ago one lucky punter won the progressive jackpot worth $200,000 at the time.
Martin Smith of slotland.com commented on Slotland’s games by saying, “It’s a lot of work to keep developing completely new, unique games. Our games are all original though. You won’t see them anywhere else.”
