Following on from Microgaming’s release of MySlot late last year which allows players to choose their own slots game design, MakeSlots.com has been launched which also lets players design their own slots games.

The website created by Jan Balslev is designed for slots players, affiliates and webmasters to create their own customised Flash no-download slot games.

The site is easy to use with an animated guide to help you design your game.  The site allows you to import pictures from anywhere on the Internet to use in your slots game as well as containing a library of symbols that you can also use for the reels.  You can also choose the colours of the graphics and the name of your new slot.

Once you have designed your own slot the site encourages you to load it onto your own website, so other people can also play the slots game designed by you.  This is where it differs from MySlot which can only be designed and played on an online casino that contains the software.

Speaking about MakeSlots.com Jan Balslev said, “MakeSlots.com allows normal web surfers including website owners to make their own custom slot machines.  They can then either play their unique creation on the MakeSlots site, or they can choose an option which provides the finished product in code form which they can export to their own website for use … all completely free of charge.

Jan Balslev’s idea for the website came about because of the withdrawal of commercial software companies from the American market.  Therefore the site has been aimed at American players but Balslev has said that players from all over the globe are more than welcome to use the site to design their own online slot machines.
