French online casino site to be truly 3D

The French owned Lucien Barrière Hotels and Casinos are claiming that they will launch the first online casino that is “truly 3D” next month.
The online casino will be based on Lucien Barrière’s real life casino in Deauville, home to the PokerStars.net European Poker Tour event. “Whatever players find in the casino in Deauville, they will find in LeCroupier.com,” the company said. “LeCroupier.com is set to provide a brand new way to play online,” said a company spokesperson. “Whether players are looking for a little entertainment or genuine 3D casino gaming, they will find it at LeCroupier.com - creating their own virtual characters from a series of life-like avatars in a 'dressing room' area. Using their avatars, players will then be able to look around the casino, talk to other players while at the tables and play a few games of roulette and blackjack or even try their luck on the slots.” The casino will be an exact replica of the French casino and will be the first online casino based on a real land-based casino.
With the aim of binging players even closer to the experience of visiting a real life casino, LeCroupier is expected to attract large numbers of players when it goes live.
The gaming floor will be based on the famous Lucien Barriere's casino, with furniture, decor and clientele all replicated online.
The graphics and game play is set to rival any of the best online casinos currently on the market. LeCroupier will also be available in 2D for members who do not wish to download the 3D software.
Jon Strock, Chief Operating Officer for LeCroupier.com said, “With our 47-year heritage in managing 40 land-based casinos, LeCroupier.com is uniquely positioned to provide the best online casino in the market. With the first truly 3D online casino, featuring life-like avatars and the possibility to interact with other players, we are confident that LeCroupier.com will be the next generation in online casinos."
