Online gaming developer CryptoLogic have secured a new deal with Warner Brothers, Digital Distribution and DC Comics which will mean they will be releasing more online slots games based on comic superheroes. Games based on the Superman and Batman brands amongst others are already in the pipeline to be released from the fourth quarter of this year.
Coinciding with the announcement, CryptoLogic have been awarded Gambling Online Magazine’s Top Casino Software Award for the fourth year in a row.
Due to the high-profile of the Superman and Batman brands these two new games will be hotly awaited by the online gaming world.
Also under the new deal there will be games based on The Green Lantern, The Flash and Wonder Woman. Many more branded games are likely to follow. These new games will compliment CryptoLogic’s already impressive array of slots games that are based on comic superheroes – with some of the characters also being the subjects of blockbusting films and/or television series, for example, Spider-Man, The Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk and The X-Men.
President and CEO of CryptoLogic, Brian Hadfield said, “CryptoLogic leads the way in bringing the world’s biggest entertainment brands to the world’s best internet casinos – and there are few bigger brands than the DC Super Heroes. It’s all about doing what we do best: branded games are the fastest-growing part of our business, and we expect these and other games will help drive CryptoLogic’s revenue growth for years to come.”
CryptoLogic will also have a new look this summer with a brand new logo at which time the company should be releasing more details about its branded games in the pipeline.
