Absolute Poker scam been going for three years

There have been new developments in the Absolute Poker scam.  It has been alleged that the scam has been going on for as long as three years.

The revelations come from the gambling portal Point-Spread.com in which unidentified sources claim the scam has been going on for longer than first thought.

Sources in Costa Rica have been quoted by Webmaster Tommy Jensen that say the cheating on Absolute Poker’s games has gone on for three years and the amount of money scammed could be as much as $7 million.  This is only an estimate as an internal audit into the amount scammed is currently ongoing.

Tommy Jensen says an ex-employee of Absolute Poker told Pooint-Spread.com that the security department at AP suspected wrongdoings a couple of years ago, but they were told it was just the owners testing out the system and no scam was being operated.  It has been alleged that AJ Green is involved in the scam and that employees of AP are prepared to testify against him.

The 911 portal has meanwhile published a series of damage control reports saying Absolute Poker will survive the allegations.  It has also been said that Absolute Poker rake in somewhere between $1.5 million to $2 million a day.  An unnamed source said on 911, “Absolute Poker will survive this (scandal).  There are about a hundred investors in the company to ensure this happens.”

911 has also reported that it’s a misconception that Absolute Poker was started by some college fraternity brothers in 2003.  Claims have been made that it was actually started by a college grad named Scott Tom with financial help from his father.  Tom is also under suspicion that he is involved in the scam.  Tom no longer works for the company and has been reported as living in Panama City and Costa Rica.

The source told 911, “They (AJ Green and Scott Tom) are not talking to investors, but Absolute Poker does not need Scott Tom.  There is a strong management team in place with hundreds of employees.”  Other investors in Absolute Poker include former employees of Nine.com which now belongs to VIP.com.
